Welcome to the farm
Visnes Hotel is a historic hotel built in classic Swiss style, typical for the early years of 1900. The business started in 1850, when the owner of the large farm at Visnes, Anton Visnes, started to take guests in the main house on the farm. The hotel has been awarded with «Olavsrosa», which is a quality symbol for the Norwegian cultural heritage. Here you will find a lot of history and soul.
Traditional food served with style
At Visnes Hotel, we want to serve traditional food from the area. With our own hunters, we have access to good quality game meat. In addition, we collect seafood from the coast, and use our local suppliers for vegetables and berries. This is how you can enjoy delicious dishes with a short distance from farm to fork.

Sleep well
Visnes Hotel is open for accommodation five months a year. From mid-April to mid-October, you can sleep in one of our unique rooms - all individually decorated in a nostalgic style. Welcome to 1930 – but of course with your own private bathroom.
